Jurassic Coast Cruise from Sidmouth

Our Jurassic Coast Cruise takes in the oldest section, known as the Triassic Era, famous for its deep red colour. Your skipper will give you a live commentary during the cruise covering the changing history and appearance of the area as well as the wildlife and towns. Tides permitting, the vessel will sail in close to the cliffs for a detailed view and then sail further out to offer a panoramic view.

In league with other natural sites such as the Grand Canyon and the Great Barrier Reef, the site exposes over 250 million years of the Earth's history.

You will also view some of the highest peaks of the Cliffs in the Triassic Section and the Rock Armour protecting Sidmouth beach.

The cruise is a sea going trip and therefore can be affected by the weather, particularly the winds. Please call us to confirm a sailing before travelling.

Trip duration: 2-3 hours approx.

Departure Point: SIDMOUTH

This cruise is suitable for passengers with good mobility, as it departs and arrives back to the pebbled beach of Sidmouth. In these circumstances, we will offer to transfer you onto another date or issue you with a refund.
