Guided Bird Watching Cruise from Exmouth

Guided Bird Watching Cruise from Exmouth

The Exe Estuary, internationally famed and designated for its important birds and other wildlife, is home for many species of bird throughout the year.

Visit during the winter months of November to March and you will see it transformed into a haven for an increased multitude of species, including Brent Geese, Shelduck, Avocets, Black-Tailed Godwits and Curlew.

As the season progresses there is also the chance to view Herons at their nests, and witness the outrageous courtship of the Red-breasted Mergansers.

Stuart Line Cruises offer a three hour cruise on board modern vessels and sailing on always calm waters. The boats have open top decks and enclosed centrally heated lower decks. A licensed refreshments bar is open during the trip, serving hot and cold drinks including homemade soup.

Throughout the trip you will have the guidance of an excellent ornithologist who will provide a commentary on sightings, plumage, feeding, breeding and habitat.
